Returns:

We want you to be absolutely satisfied with your jewelry. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 calendar days for a full refund of the product price paid. Calendar days are counted from the day the product was shipped from us to the customer to the day item received back at our address.

Eligibility for return products must meet certain requirements: Products must be in new or like-new condition. Like-new means the item must be free from physical damage, visible wear, replacement stones or parts, missing stones or parts, or any alterations to the metal, settings, or stones.

The original metal stamp must be imprinted or visible on all pieces. Products must include all pieces originally included. An example is a wedding set that includes an engagement ring and matching wedding band. Rings that have been sized will have the resizing cost deducted from the refund or credit in the amount of the exact cost to resize them back to their original size. For example, a wedding set sized from size 7 to size 9 will need to be sized from size 9 back to size 7 upon return. The cost to have this work done will be deducted from the total amount eligible for a refund.

If a customer has a stone fall out of the product within 30 days, we will accept the return for a full refund or exchange contingent upon inspection. Our inspection will help us to determine if the missing stone is the result of a manufacturing defect in the piece or from damage. If after the inspection we determine that the manufacture of the ring is at fault, we will refund the entire purchase price or exchange the item. If the inspection concludes that the manufacture of the ring is not at fault, then the cost of the repair would be deducted from the total amount eligible for a refund. If an item is ineligible for return or an issue exists that prevents a full refund, we'll reach out to determine the next steps. Sellers are responsible for the return shipping cost if the item is recalled.

Management reserves the right to assess a restocking fee or refuse an item for return.

Returns must be postage prepaid via traceable carrier and, for your protection, insured for the full purchase price of the products, including any shipping and handling charges.

In order to protect the package against possible theft, please DO NOT WRITE THE WORDS 'jewelry', 'diamonds', or any other terms related to the package being sent (unless required by customs and insurance, etc, where necessary). We will not be responsible for loss or damage of return shipments.

Any unauthorized, improperly packaged, or non-insured packages will be returned to sender. Items that show signs of wear or have been resized (by a jeweler other than us), do not have original tags on them, engraved, altered, or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.

Please note: closeout items, custom orders, rings with custom sizes, bracelets, necklaces and other items which we adjusted or manufactured to your specification are not returnable and not refundable. Exchanges on items originally not eligible for a refund are non-returnable and all exchanges are final.

Return instructions

  • Repack the merchandise in its original packaging materials, including all paperwork. For diamonds, enclose the original copy of the matching or identifying certificates. and ship it to:

If the item you are returning is:

  • Less than $500. You can ship it via any carrier. Be sure to ship your item fully insured, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination.
  • More than $500. ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail™, insured for the total value of the contents, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached us. (FedEx and UPS will not insure merchandise over $500.)

Terms of Refund

You will receive a full refund in the original form of payment. Note that shipping, handling, and insurance costs are not refunded. Order shipments returned to us by courier as undeliverable or refused will be refunded minus shipping fees incurred both ways. Packages sent with ground shipping method and returned due to above reasons will be charged $15 per shipment to cover return costs.

Return time

Once your return is received, it will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department. If it qualifies for return (please see the Terms above) refund will be issued within 1-3 weeks.

Returning an item you received as a gift

If you would like to return an item received as a gift, please follow the same steps as above. It may be possible to exchange the item or receive a Black Diamond Jeweler gift certificate.

Shipping Terms

After an order is placed, Black Diamond Jeweler will send you a confirmation. Subsequently, our employees will process your order and get it ready for shipment as soon as possible. The usual order processing time is one to three business days (this includes the time it takes for our security department to review the order and to prepare the item for shipment.) If the item is out of stock, it will take us two to four weeks to manufacture it for you. However, if an item is not in our inventory, be assured that you will be contacted and given several options including ordering a similar item.
